Rike Media was formed in 2006 as a partnership between Mike Barlow and Rick Mills. The two partners goal was to form a parent company to run several websites and services from. Using past experience the two set to create a wide range of web-based services and products.

The first service was WSDReg. A domain registrar and hosting provider launched in April 2006 with the goal to offer competitive priced hosting and domain services. Unlike many ISPs, WSDReg had, and still has to this day, the customers interests at heart. The company is currently in it's third year of service, and continues to provide excellent value for money with a full range of domain names and hosting solutions. More recently, several additions to the range were added, including the launch of free domain and email forwarding, as well as free managed dns.

Our flagship company, VPSSpeed launched in early 2009, providing unmanaged VPS services based in Dallas, Texas. The brand rapidly expanded to become our main focus, and now provides a range of metered and unmetered VPS plans, as well as dedicated servers. Services can now be purchased in Dallas, TX as well as Scranton, PA. In August 2009, we launched speedCP, a unique VPS control panel, exclusive to VPSSpeed customers.

In 2010, RikeMedia will be launching two new products; RikeCart and ClubDB. RikeCart is a powerful PHP E-Commerce solution with features that rival the leading E-Commerce brands. ClubDB is a unique club management system, created in partnership with one of the UK's leading Angling clubs. Expected for release in Q3 2010, ClubDB will fill the void in club management systems.
